100,000 Reasons to be Grateful at Sewing Arts

Good day, folks! I hope the day finds you well. Of course, as usual, I have way too much to say about probably way too little. but as usual, there’s lots going on!

 

First, in just a few hundred more sales, projected to hit just about the first of December, we’ll hit our 100,000th sale! Can you believe it? It’s an amazing number to me, and hard to believe that we’ve hit the tender key on the register almost 100,000 times! Of course, we’re going to have to have some sort of celebration... We’ll see what we can come up with. I’m thinking something for the entire month of December to show you our heartfelt appreciation... You probably want to be the 100,000th sale if you can muster it...

 

Some other great news, too! Some of you know that we’ve been working toward creating instructional sewing media via web and dvd. Well guess what? We just finished filming our first instructional sewing video! Within the next couple of weeks, we’ll post it on our website and YouTube. (Who knew taping a few minutes of instruction would take this man 67 takes and way too many hours?) It was great fun, and I’m incredibly grateful to Eric and Jeff Anderson who expertly led me through my paces. (Thanks, guys...) Now that we’ve got this first one under our belt, the rest will start to follow. Look forward to watching our smiling faces at any time of day or night in the privacy of your own sewing studios...

 

Let’s see, what else? Oh... if you are a current owner of Husqvarna Viking’s 3D Embroidery software, the deadline to upgrade to one of the 4D Embroidery suites is looming. December 31, 2009 marks the last date you’ll be able to upgrade 3D to 4D without having to pay full price. If you’re beloved are looking for the perfect gift for you, this might be just the ticket. We’ve been spit-shining the shop (what’s new?), and going through storage to find lots and lots of books... We’ve got a couple of hundred of titles in house on some really extraordinary sewing, quilting and embroidery books. It’s a great time to add to your library, or to purchase gifts for the sewing buddies in your life.

(By the way, one of you asked me about InsulBrite batting for pot holders -- sorry, but my brain has left me and I can’t recall who it was -- but it has arrived...)

 

I also wanted to let you know that one of our inspired customers is upgrading her HQ 16 stitch regulated quilting machine with cabinet to the Prodigy quilting machine.
