It's Almost Mother's Day Around the Country AND at Sewing Arts!

Published: Monday - May 4, 2009

Hi, folks! Hope the week is already smiling upon you! This email serves simply as your "head's up" on one of the most important days of the year...Mother's Day. This coming Sunday. All day long. And do NOT, under any circumstance, buy mom dish towels... (It's a childhood memory seared into my head. No, I didn't buy them, the boyfriend did. He didn't weather the relationship very long after that...)

And don't be naive - get her what she wants, even if she says she doesn't "really" want it. You know the look. We all know the look, and we all know that "why do I feel like I'm already in trouble and I haven't done anything wrong yet" voice that a mom can weave so easily into her entire demeanor without missing a beat.

So. Need ideas? I'm full of them! If mom sews -- and it's likely she does because she probably received this email directly from me, and has ever so subtly forwarded it to you, or put it in your briefcase, or your lunch pail, or taped it to the screen of your computer -- then Sewing Arts is one of her sewing hangouts, and a place she frequents with regularity.

I also know we all need to save money and still look like we spent a million bucks. How about a sewing and embroidery machine for $699? How about an ironing system that'll rock her sewing world at $399? Sounds pricey, but you will so WIN... How about a Designer SE LE sewing machine at a price so low I can't quote it in this email?

Or, maybe you want to light up her life! How about the new UBER light from Reliable? $79 and she'll be able to see like never before! Or simply a new pair of Gingher dressmaker shears that mom really wants, but can "make do" without?

How about the new Longboard ironing board? Sounds crazy, but it's the right equipment for the right job and an opulence to which mom seldom treats herself!

Or, maybe mom's been talking seriously about that cottage industry she's always wanted to start, and now's the time finally to give her all the support she needs by getting her a quilting machine or a 6-needle embroidery machine.

There are lots of "ors" in these waters! Need m'ore ideas? Just come on by! We'll be happy to help! From extra packs of sewing needles to a basic thread supply, you can’t go wrong on Mother’s Day with quality sewing products from Sewing Arts.

To all the moms out there, we wish all of you the most joyous of Mother's Day ever! See you and yours soon!
