Super Bolt Sunday Sale!
It is entirely beyond me how February got here so FAST! Hi, folks! Hope you're all doing really well in this newly christened year. We hit the ground running and haven't stopped. So, I'm multi-tasking while I type this -- running in place on the treadmill (or as a friend of mine calls it, the "dreadmill".) We'll see how it goes! (I keep thinking the treadmill would be much more entertaining if it were built like a hamster wheel...)
Let's see, what's up. First off, classes are in full swing. If you're best new year's intentions got beyond you, there's classes all trimester long to bring you back up to stride. From the home page at www.SewingArtsCenter.com, on the top right of the page, you'll note a place where it says "Sewing Arts Newsletter - Click to Download pdf". If you click on it, you can have your very own electronic version of the entire class schedule through April. Lots of ways to keep yourself off the streets and in front of the sewing machine. In addition to our new Sewer's Tote class, our HeartWorks series and a slew of other new offerings, you might really enjoy our new "Tailor's Ham" series', too!
I am also very pleased to announce a late entry into our schedule. Jeane Starkey is introducing to Sewing Arts Center the Betty Cotton's fabulous Quilt As You Go technique. Call to enroll for this wonderful workshop that will be held on Sunday, February 28, from 10 AM - 4 PM. Enrollment is limited to 15 students.
On the product front, we've been getting lots of requests for batting by the yard. Your wish being my command (that was fun to write) voila - batting by the yard. Both Quilter's Dream polyester and cotton is available! (And we finally got their wonderful black polyester batting in, too.) Wool is on the way, but I guess they're having to sheer the sheep...
Brother Innovis 40s and 80s are still on back order, and are projected to begin shipping late February at earliest. However, my equally favorite Husqvarna Viking Emerald 116s, 118s and 183s are available. So, if you can't wait any longer, I might suggest looking at the Emeralds - you'll be equally pleased by any one of these three models. Give a holler and we'll be happy to help.
Which brings me to this weekend... Sunday, it appears, according to my "in the know" sources, is SuperBowl Sunday a la Super Bolt Sunday at Sewing Arts. This next Sunday morning, February 7th, from 6 AM - 10 AM will be one of the biggest sales opportunities of the year at Sewing Arts! For 4 hours at Sewing Arts Center on February 7th, there will be great discounts throughout the shop, from 20% - 75% off retail! Floor model cabinetry will be 50% off retail! On selected in stock sewing and embroidery machines you'll save upwards of 40%! Have you been hankering for an overlock? February 7th will be THE day to take one home! Want to add to your library of embroidery designs or want to create your own embroidery designs? You'll save almost more than you spend on embroidery software and designs!
And you can finance too! Depending on how much you finance, you'll have the opportunity to spread the payments up to 3 years!
Though we can't reveal prices before the event, we're recommending you come in prior to the sale to get all your ducks in a row, as it's likely to be pretty crazy. And if you're thinking about financing, it'll be helpful to have you come in sometime prior to the sale, so that we can run the paperwork.
Hope you all have a great day! We look forward to seeing you soon! xoxo Russell and the Sewing Arts Center Gang
