A Summer Wind Blows at Sewing Arts
Spring has sproinged, and it appears that summer has already arrived, too! Happy day, folks! I keep falling off the side of the world, and before I set myself to crawling back up the side and into another pile of paper, thought I'd catch you up.
First, we've remodeled...I know...so newsworthy... but the shop does look quite fabulous, if I do say so myself! We now have two classroom spaces, so look forward to a summer schedule packed with even more classes to take! (And yes, I'm madly working to put the new schedule together.) By the way, I'm looking for a couple of sewing instructors. If you know of someone or someones who might be interested, let 'em know. (Don B...I'm going to rope you in one of these days...)
Relevant to summer, I and Betty are busily planning our Rock Paper Scissors summer studios for children 9-13. Dates should be in permanent ink by week's end, and enrollment opportunities will open up on Monday, March 29.
Let's see... This week - actually tomorrow, Wednesday, March 24, from 6:30-9 PM commences our two-session long arm quilting training. If you're so inclined, there's still a few spaces available. This will be our last training session until September, so it might behoove to squeeze it in if you can.
Our 10th Anniversary is just a little more than a week away - April 1st, of all days! Lots of things in the works that I'll bring you up to speed on next week, so stay tuned... I'm sure there'll be some sort of fete.
In the meantime, we're making room for some new arrivals. Through Saturday, enjoy 50% off all batiks and prints in stock with a minimum 1 yard cut. All cotton and bamboo fleece and t-shirt knits are also 50% off - minimum 1 yard cut.
I'm off! (In so many ways it'd take too much time to innumerate...)
See you soon!
xoxo Russell and the Sewing Arts Gang
