July is going...going...going...
How is possible that summer has finally hit and summer is almost over? I need 48 hour days...
Hi, folks! My quasi-regular round-up of all the news that's fit for print at Sewing Arts. First and foremost, yep, we're still here, and have been busy as all get out! Thanks! We've also been busy re-organizing and re-re-organizing what's been re-organized. It's colorful, but it'll be beautiful when it's all done. (Done...what an interesting concept...) In any event, just a few things upon which to bring you up to date - VIMs (Very Important Matters).
First, we celebrated Becky's birthday this month! If you missed it and want to know what she likes, Oreo cookies are always a sure bet (the standard, boring, black cookies with white innerds - and none of those double stuffed ones, or exotic flavored ones either...she's easy to please - but VERY particular about her Oreos...)
Next, with all the re-imagining happening at Sewing Arts, there's lots in store. For instance, On Sunday, August 2nd, we'll be unveiling our new Generations 12-needle table-top embroidery machine with a stitch field of (get this) 20" x 14.5" in a single hooping! Neil Kelly, our Regional Sales Manager with Generations will be on hand to demonstrate the machine. Equally important, he'll be doing demonstrations with Generations' automatic digitizing embroidery software. (There'll also be great software trade-in incentives regardless the brand you own for which you won't want to miss out!)
We'll have two sessions of the Generations lecture/demonstrations on Sunday, August 2nd: the first at 11 AM; the second at 2 PM. Participation is free, but seating is limited to 18 folks per session. So, yes, you need to register ahead of time. Plan for about an hour or so of really cool, cool, cool machine embroidery stuff! And, just for attending the demonstration, you'll get a free package of embroidery designs! So, if you're already into embroidery, or thinking about equipment, or simply wondering what it's all about, you'll not want to miss out on this rare opportunity.
And lastly, for today, anyway (believe it or not, it's taken me almost 4 hours to type this), Horn of America, makers of sewing machine cabinetry, asked if we'd be interested in a deal we couldn't pass up. The deal was to take the balance of their inventory on model 3156 air lift cabinets. We said "heck, yah!" because it's one of those too good to be true deals... This rock-solid sewing cabinet has plenty of storage and is available to you at a truly remarkable price - more than 60% off retail! We've got them in white, white with oak trim and cherry with birch interior. It's likely these will be gone in very short order, so don't hold back wondering if it's the right time. It is the right time! Come by and we'll be happy to show you around!
That's it! Have a great night! See you soon.
xoxo Russell and the Sewing Arts Gang
