It's a Beautiful Day! At Sewing Arts Center
Hi, folks! Hope the day is treating you well! Looks like it's going to be an absolutely awesome weekend! Days like today are the days for which people move to Southern California!
So, lots to catch you up on and only 300 words -- or so -- in which to do it...
First things first, I know this is late notice, but if you are thinking of getting your machine serviced soon, Ted will be in on Monday and then out on vacation for TWO WEEKS (and he didn't ask...hmmm...) So, scurry in with it on Saturday, or you'll need to wait for a couple of weeks.
Next, our Fat Quarter Frenzy concludes tomorrow, Saturday, April 18. 9 fat quarters for $9, and paisley topped sewing baskets originally $19.95 now only $9 - through tomorrow. (Next week, Gingher dressmaker shears $9 off all week long!)
(Oh yes, and Becky's reminding me about the remarkable selection of quilt battings we just got in stock, now, including bamboo, and Hobbs new Tuscany collections of wool and polyester - just a little more loft when you need just a little more loft. If you need it, it's likely we have it! Come on by!)
Also, we have a terrific secondary special going on next week, too. Available to the first 25 customers at $5.99 - originally $29.99, are 25 Large Deluxe Tote Bags (one per customer...) from Husqvarna Viking. The cool thing? Every regular retail price item you can cram into the tote on the day you purchase the tote is 15% off! Good April 20th through April 25th. That's the Husqvarna Viking promotion. We're extending it - every regular retail price item you can cram into the tote during each of your visits during the remainder of April and May is 15% off! (This should be hysterical... I'm not certain I could fit a Designer Diamond in the tote, but it'll be fun to watch who can...)
Horn of America has privileged us with a cabinet special: purchase the Quilter's Dream cabinet 3180, the Quilter's Dream Storage Chest 08 and the 6-way adjustable chair 12090 and save $700 on the combination -- one of the most practical and functional combinations in the quilting and sewing world for furniture! Sunset Oak or White.
And, we have some very exciting news to share with you about new products on their way to Sewing Arts: In addition to representing Husqvarna Viking, Singer and HandiQuilter sewing machines, we are proud to announce the addition of Brother and Baby Lock brands! I've had the pleasure of working with the Baby Lock sergers. OMG! Auto tension AND auto-threading! I've got to be frank - I don't have trouble threading overlocks, but this baby... I'm in love! A few of the Baby Lock sergers have already arrived and more Baby Locks (including the Quest...we're really looking forward to the Quest...more later) are on their way in the coming weeks. And, if you've watched Project Runway, you already know that Brother machines are the machines of choice for Project Runway. Now, Brother has made its way to Sewing Arts! The machines sew remarkably well, and the needle threader -- well, I'm buying the needle threader... it happens to come with the machine, but the needle threader is remarkable!
That's the bulk of it, believe it or not! (I've typed really fast, so it should've been faster for you to read this...) Lastly, we've been cleaning and cleaning and clearing our upstairs storage, and have come across some remarkable finds! In a couple of weeks we're going to have a sample sale. There'll be plenty of great quilts and quilt tops and bags and garments up for silent auction... We'll let you know more as we come closer. While we've been clearing, we've come across one of our HandiQuilter Quiltable tables - we need the space! It is regularly 1100.00. Yours for $500. Sold to the first person who shows up cash in hand!
Now, that's it! Have a great weekend!
