If You Were Here, You'd Be Sewing!
Yep, it's true. If you were at Sewing Arts Center, you'd be sewing! And there certainly has been a gaggle of folks joining us for a remarkable line-up of classes at Sewing Arts! This trimester, folks have already taken the plunge with hand embroidery classes, are stitching it up in Becky's advanced ThreadWorks TW1C class, are feverish for quilting classes (once the quilting bug gets you...a couple of spaces are still available in QuiltWorks QW1A that begins next Thursday) and sewing it up in all of our garment sewing classes. Even our early morning FastTrack series is filling up! And if you haven't seen the jeans folks have been knocking out in our Sewing S1C classes, you're missing a real treat - these jeans are kick a**!!
Next week our Home Dec HD201 series launches, and both day and evening classes are full speed ahead (I'll have the supply lists up tomorrow...) This series is entirely hands and will ramp up your home dec skills even further! And in just a couple of weeks from now, Becky's Quilt Mastery Series begins with Shadowdance. You're not going to want to miss it!
Sound interesting? Check out www.SewingArtsCenter.com, call, or better, yet come on by for further details! We'll be happy to let you in on all the juice. (And check out our Rock Paper Scissors camps for children this summer. They're filling up fast!)
That's the intro to classes. And it only gets better. I told you that Baby Lock and Brother sewing and embroidery machines were on their way. Brother got here just a bit ago, and Baby Lock just started arriving. And I've got to say, I feel like I've had my head in the sand. These machines are really remarkable! I mean, Brother has a sewing and embroidery machine for a really swell price loaded to the gills with features! At this price, you could buy two and have one embroidering all the time while you were sewing on the other one!
But today I really want to tell you about the Baby Lock! Have you seen the Quilters Dream Quest Plus? OMG! Integrated Dual Feed like the Pfaff, separate bobbin winding motor, gobs of stitches, needle threader, knee lift, extension table and oodles of feet come STANDARD! And this little puppy hums! You've got to come see this machine! And even though the ink isn't dry on our contract with Baby Lock, we've been invited by Baby Lock to make you an introductory deal on this machine that is extraordinary - you're machine, working or not, is worth $1000.00 as a trade-in against the Quest Plus! Whether you're a home dec wizard, a quilting maven or star-studded garment sewer, you'd be hard pressed to find a better machine at a better price. It even punches through leather like it was chiffon...
On the rest of the store front, this week's in store special is all about Kwik Sew! Kwik Sew patterns have been one of our best investments yet! They are REALLY great patterns with really good fit! I couldn't be more pleased! Purchase two Kwik Sew patterns this week and get a third Kwik Sew pattern of equal or lesser price absolutely free!
And finally, we've got new business cards. Stop by and pick up a couple of "coppers" - our new Sewing Arts coinage cum business cards! They're very cool. In concert with the launch of our new business cards this week, we're also introducing our new rewards program with our Found Money Club. For every $10 spent at each of your visits at Sewing Arts on merchandise in the shop exclusive of sewing equipment (machines, ironing systems, cabinets and software), you'll receive a silver Sewing Arts nickel. So that your pocket doesn't begin to bulge with Sewing Arts nickels, you can redeem our "nickels" for "gold" - a shiny, sparkly gold Sewing Arts coin to save for later. 10 "nickels" or 1 "gold" are worth $10 off your next purchase of $10 or more, exclusive of sales tax.
That does it! From all of us to all of you, have a great day! See you soon!
xoxo Russell and the Sewing Arts Gang
