We're Over the Hump at Sewing Arts
Hi, folks! I'm writing this while I sleep so bear with me if a few zzzzzzz's pop in every one in awhile... Hope you're all having a swell day!
The hump of the month past just a couple of days ago, so we're in the home stretch of our liquidation event. The shop looks really different! There's still lots gobs of deals to be had, and the discount this week is 20% off on sewing machine accessories, notions and fabrics. If you pay CASH, we'll give you an additional 10% off on accessories, notions and fabrics! The cash discount started yesterday, and it appears that my understanding of cash and the general public's understanding of cash are not in sync. You may (or may not) be as surprised as I was to note that many people think that checks and debit cards are cash. Just so we're all on the same page, in Russell Land cash shows up in USA tenders of 1, 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 dollar bills... (I've never seen a $1000 bill...are they legal mint?)
Those of you who have been waiting for me to start pulling quilts and samples from storage, the lion's share of them are now out. Lots of wonderful quilt tops and quilts, bags and clothing samples for sale. No reasonable offer refused. (Discounts discussed above do not apply to these items.)
We've also pulled out of storage several Bernina sewing machines including 2 153 Alex Anderson edition quilting machines and a nice smattering of Bernina feet and accessories. They were floor models just serviced and ready to go. Classroom chairs are going, too for much less than we paid.
I also inadvertently ordered one too many of the Designer SE LE deals from Viking of which I introduced in an earlier email. Though the deal has concluded with Viking, you can be the lucky person who will get in on it well after the last minute! (We still have cabinets available. If you're looking for a place to house your sewing machine, it's a really good time for that, too!)
We have two classroom Scandinavia 400s left of the 16 we had a couple of weeks ago. We'll bring in new machines for the classrooms next week. I'd really like for these to find two great homes. The 400 is a really nice sewing machine, and one of the last machines to be manufactured in Sweden.
Our Baby Lock sale concludes on Friday, so it'll be the last chance you get to get in on huge savings on Baby Locks. And there's still plenty of floor models and boxed new machines that are looking for homes. Owner is MOTIVATED! Make me a reasonable offer! (Of course, you know I'll let you know if it's less than reasonable...)
That just about does it! When you stop by, if you don't see what you're looking for, ask! We've got stuff squirreled away everywhere, so even if you don't see it, it's likely we have it somewhere!
I'll be here this Sunday from 11-4 PM. Have a great rest of the week! See you soon!
xoxo Russell and the Sewing Gang
