Introduced last trimester, Pattern Drafting PD101A made quite the splash! Our instructor, Sona Hadidian, is not only masterful at pattern drafting and draping, she also has the rare ability to impart her knowledge in a way that makes what can be overwhelming quite tangible and easily grasped. Bring your fashion desires to light in this 9-part class devoted entirely to developing your personal block consisting of the bodice, front and back, the skirt, front and back, and the sleeve. You'll learn how to take and translate your personal measurements to a flat pattern you'll then translate to muslin. You'll learn how to true the muslin and pattern, ending with a perfect fit pattern you can use as a foundation for drafting your own designs. $349 plus text and supplies. (Enrollment is with instructor approval only. A maximum of 8 students may enroll in each session.
